INTELITY SVP of Sales Ben Keller will be speaking on a panel during the 2023 Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Conference, taking place March 27-30 in San Diego, California. The panel, titled "The Latest in Construction - From Concept to Opening" will take place in Room 24B on Tuesday, March 28 at 11 a.m.
Keller will discuss with fellow panelists Carl Long, Stephen Bacchetti, and moderator Chris Creasey, how to get from an idea to a new building. From just the spark of an idea to the opening day, the panel will provide an overview of the evolution of a building project from start to finish; from challenges that can be overcome by working as a team, the decisions that need to be made to keep the project on track and the overall experience of a complex project. Keller brings a unique perspective to the panel, where he will discuss technology applications and the guest and staff experience to be considered when building (or renovating) a casino, resort or hotel.
Convenience and personalization are the new luxury hotel experiences, as many travelers now associate high-tech with high-end. Across the hospitality and entertainment industries, guests have become accustomed to the convenience afforded by mobile-first guest experiences, where they control every aspect of travel in the palm of their hand, from booking travel and checking into their hotel, to accessing their room and ordering dining and amenities. Mobile devices are front and center of the guest experience – from guests’ personal devices to in-room hotel tablets – and these technologies are being used to drive guest engagement, streamline staff operations, and increase revenue for properties.
Smart-room tech enables hotel guests to control every aspect of their stay from changing the channel on their TVs and playing their own music playlist, to requesting services, viewing restaurant menus, booking amenities, and so much more. Casino-resorts have been rolling out integrated mobile apps with contactless check-in, ID verification, player club loyalty and mobile key all integrated into one convenient app. Properties that are implementing these technologies are ensuring convenience and a seamless guest experience into the future as consumers become more mobile-focused and tech-savvy over time. Hotels and casinos making technology a key part of the experience are ensuring guests have 24/7 access to everything they need to create a memorable experience.
SVP of Sales Ben Keller brings 20+ years of hospitality industry expertise to INTELITY, including an extensive background working with both tribal and non-tribal operations in the hotel and casino-hotel space across the country. He was previously SVP of Sales at KEYPR, which merged with INTELITY in 2018, and prior to that oversaw software sales for Scientific Games (formerly Bally Technologies). He works closely with hotels and resorts to create hospitality tech stacks that exceed guest expectations and deliver ROI for the property. Ben has partnered with properties such as Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, Thunder Valley Casino Resort, Firekeepers and more to implement technology solutions that elevate their guest experiences and streamline operations.
