The BQ400 Unmanned Aerial Target (UAT) system an expendable and effective aerial target system designed to mimic the characteristics of popular commercially available quadcopter systems. The BQ400 UAT system uses Boresight’s customised flight management and mission planning software for flight control of the Raider UAT and the conduct of ad-hoc or pre-planned threat scenarios.
The Raider UAT was designed to be highly manoeuvrable in both automatic and Pilot-In-Comand flight modes, allowing the design and execution of complex flight profiles that emulate threats from COTS quadcopters as seen recently in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
