Matt Hensler is a multi-award winning marketing leader, educator and speaker who is currently the Vice President of Digital Integration at ColinKurtis Advertising. With both in-house and agency experience, he works with small businesses, startups and Fortune 500 businesses, including notable brands Toshiba, StarKist, Hershey’s, DISH Network, USA Today, Wells Fargo, Marriott and Chick-fil-A.
Hensler previously owned his own integrated marketing agency and has won a handful of social media, digital marketing and public relations awards including PR News 30 & Under.
Hensler has taught social media and digital marketing workshops and certification programs for the State of Illinois, as part of its Digital Divide program and at the Digital Professional Institute. He has been a speaker at the Social Strategies Summit, Social Shake Up and Small Business Expo. In addition, Hensler was an instructor for a digital marketing undergraduate course at Tribeca Flashpoint Academy.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University and Master’s Degree in Public Relations from Full Sail University. Hensler is a published author and speaker, where he has published pieces or been a special guest on social media marketing, digital marketing and public relations for CBS, WGN Radio, Website Magazine and Try This Dish Radio.
