*Tasting The Flavor Wheel: Building Your Palate For Coffee

Description

Are you new to the world of tasting coffee? Have you ever tasted something amazing but not had the words to describe it? In this class, through multiple tasting and hands-on sensory exercises, you’ll work on not only building your palate but your ability to identify and articulate the different aspects of each coffee you enjoy- from the aroma to the body and, of course, the taste. As a group, we’ll engage in casual but lively discussions about what we perceive in each cup and how we all experience coffees differently, helping you build the foundation for more in-depth and enjoyable coffee tastings in the future.

This session will take place on the show floor before the hall opens. Please wait at the entrance to the show floor near registration - a Coffee Fest employee will arrive at the time your class is scheduled to start and escort you past security to the education space.
