Profile

Danner Friedman is a Senior Specialty Trader at Sucafina Specialty in North America. He has worked in coffee since 2006 when he joined the Rainforest Alliance’s Sustainable Agriculture program, developing a market in North America for sustainably-produced coffee. With a background in conservation work at several non-profit organizations, Danner has a keen interest in coffee’s connection to communities and the biodiversity surrounding them. He has now been trading specialty coffee for almost 10 years and is inspired by the positive impact roasters and consumers can have through buying coffee and investing in projects at origin. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, 3 girls, and dog (also female).
