  • SSCOR DuCanto Catheter
    SSCOR DuCanto Catheter®
    "The Salad Catheter"®
A catheter designed for use during routine and emergency airway management. Uniquely suited for the SALAD technique....

  • The SSCOR DuCanto Catheter is a single-use, non-sterile, rigid suction catheter specifically designed to be used by emergency care providers to aspirate liquids or semi-solids from a patient’s upper airway.

The SSCOR DuCanto Catheter has a larger inside diameter than a standard Yankauer suction tip to facilitate the removal of fluids as well as solid material. The larger suction lumen makes it significantly less likely to clog in an emergency situation.

The hyper curved catheter is shaped more like a patient's airway making it easy to position the catheter and work with other complementary devices used to clear a patient’s airway.

Instrumental in the SALAD Technique (Suction Assisted Laryngoscopy and Airway Decontamination).

    Specifications:
    Shaft diameter: .26” x .55” (6.6mm x 13.9mm)

    Shaft length: 9.3” (236.22mm)

    ALSO AVAILABLE IN PRE-ASSEMBLED KITS!
The SSCOR DuCanto Catheter Kits are connected to flexible suction tubing that has a 9/32" I.D. for maximum fluid flow.

The larger internal diameter of the tubing and the Catheter allows for larger pieces of emesis to pass.  The Race Video (sscor.com/race) helps illustrate the advantages of the large I.D. suction tubing.

  • S-SCORT III Portable Suction Unit
    Build to today's first responders
    Designed for ease of use
    Engineered to last...

  • The S-SCORT III has proven itself to be a durable, reliable, and economical EMS suction device and the standard in many EMS agencies.

The S-SCORT III is powerful and the vacuum is adjustable, intuitive to use, weighs only 7 pounds and is economical to purchase and maintain.

The S-SCORT III is durable because its key components are encased in protective foam.

The device is powered by a rugged and reliable internal sealed lead acid battery, which is maintained by an AC/DC charger or a DC power cord.

    Durable
The S-SCORT III was first introduced in July of 1991 and has proven itself to be a durable, reliable, and economical EMS suction device. While the S-SCORT III has evolved and improved over the years it has maintained all of the characteristics that make it the standard in many EMS agencies. Watch our "Stair Video" (sscor.com/stairs) as the S-SCORT III and other SSCOR suction units are repeatedly kicked down the stairs and continue to perform to specs.

    Reliable
The S-SCORT III is engineered for today's EMS and Fire services. An internal foam core provides exceptional protection to the motor and other internal components so suction is available when you need it. Keeping the unit on charge insures that it is always ready to perform. The outer red cover is a strong vinyl covered nylon that is durable, tough and easily wiped down after service. Used on or off the ambulance, the S-SCORT III is always ready.

    Economical
The S-SCORT III is shipped “ready to use”. The unit is powered by an internal sealed lead acid battery which is maintained by an AC/DC charger or a DC power cord. The battery is easy to change and costs less than $50 to replace. Many components of the S-SCORT III are quickly available and easily field replaceableSSCOR builds suction units that exceed expectations. With proper maintenance and care SSCOR suction units will remain in service well beyond the standard 1 year warranty.

    Powerful
The S-SCORT III delivers >30 LPM clinical airflow and vacuum is regulated by a two position regulator, allowing the operator to choose between full power (>525mmHg) and reduced power (120mmHg +/- 15%) for endotracheal and pediatric suction procedures. All of the power and versatility necessary to quickly and effectively clear an airway and weighs only 7 pounds.

  • SSCOR VX-2® Portable Suction
    SSCOR VX-2® Portable Suction
    Featuring a battery maintenance system
The SSCOR VX-2 is a lightweight, portable, powerful and "firefighter" tough, battery powered suction unit....

  • Choose the option that best fits your needs!

    SSCOR VX-2 with Charging/Retention Bracket

    • The Charging/Retention Bracket provides power to both charge and run the SSCOR VX-2
    • Will run on battery backup power for 45 minutes
    • Is on charge whenever it is resting on the bracket

The SSCOR VX-2 is a lightweight, powerful and "firefighter" tough, battery powered suction unit that acts as both a portable and onboard suction! The VX-2 is powerful enough to meet state, national and international standards for portable suction equipment (>30 lpm airflow and >525mmHg negative pressure).

Mount the VX-2 to the action wall to use as an onboard suction device.  When removed from its bracket, it is a portable suction device used outside the vehicle! Onboard suction and portable suction in one powerful unit.

Mount the VX-2 or release the VX-2 from the SAE J3043 bracket with one hand!  Once on the bracket, the VX-2 is automatically connected to charging and running power.

The outward facing control panel indicates vacuum level, battery condition, connection to power and lets the user know the pump is running.  Charging is controlled for maximum battery life and the PC board protects the battery from deep discharge. A replacement battery costs less than $50.

The variable regulator allows the negative pressure to be adjusted quickly between <50 to >525mmHg with a quarter turn of the knob to provide reduced vacuum for tracheal and pediatric procedures as well as vacuum less than 50mmHg for neonates.

NOTE:  The VX-2 is designed for battery operation or operation from vehicle power.  The AC charger provided with the VX-2 is for charging purposes only and it will not power the VX-2.

    SSCOR VX-2 Flat Back

    • Designed to be placed on a flat surface
    • Not designed to be mounted to a Charging/Retention bracket
    • Charges and runs off vehicle power using a DC power cord
    • Runs off battery backup power for 45 minutes
