 Products

  • FirstNet Dedicated Deployable Assets
These assets provide fire, EMS, law enforcement and more with unthrottled access to connectivity when and where you need it. This can be in the aftermath of a storm or other disaster, when commercial power and other infrastructure may be down....

  • Deployables can include Satellite Cells on Light Trucks (SatCOLTs), Micro SatCOLTs, Compact Rapid Deployables (CRDs), Communications Vehicles (CVs) and an Aerostat.
SatCOLTs provide capabilities and connectivity similar to a cell tower. They’re housed across more than 50 locations nationwide to enable a 14-hour delivery window following the initial emergency request.
Micro SatCOLTs, stationed out West during the 2021 fire season, are ideal for supporting firefighters on the front lines. A single technician can deploy the asset in minutes, once onsite.
CVs provide an extra-level of communications support. The CVs provide connectivity via LTE (high-quality Band 14 spectrum) and/or Wi-Fi similar to a SatCOLT. They have an air-conditioned command space for 2 first responder personnel, multiple monitors, a television, charging stations, and a large exterior screen and speakers for briefings. Plus, they’re equipped with a generator that can run for multiple days before refueling; a lavatory, microwave, mini refrigerator and sleeping bunk – for those long deployments in the harshest of conditions.
  • FirstNet MegaRange™
FirstNet MegaRange™ is a game-changer. This high-power user equipment (HPUE) solution helps improve coverage issues, whether at the edges of coverage or in dense urban environments....

  • FirstNet MegaRange™ provides America’s first responders with significant coverage benefits. Following 3GPP standards, power class 1 HPUE solutions can transmit stronger signals. And this increased signal can only be transmitted using Band 14 spectrum – the nationwide, high-quality spectrum set aside by the U.S. government specifically for FirstNet. Band 14 is the only LTE band in the U.S. enabled by 3GPP standards for use with High-Powered  User Equipment at the highest allowable power levels (Power Class 1).
FirstNet MegaRange™ boosts coverage in metropolitan areas that have challenges with cellular signal penetration, through buildings and underground parking structures. The stronger signal may better assist those connecting from hard-to-reach places like building shadows (a coverage hole caused by dense urban surroundings), tunnels, basements, elevators, stairwells and parking garages – helping first responders communicate inside and out.
  • FirstNet Z-Axis
FirstNet Z-Axis, adds a level of spatial awareness not previously available using traditional GPS-based location methods. It provides vertical location to public safety, so responders can see where and how high up their team members are....

  • Imagine looking at a map and being able to know what street corner you’re standing on, as well as how high up in the building you are. And then, being able to know where and how high up your team members are in the building. That’s the vision behind our Z-Axis capability. Think of it as the “vertical axis” view added to current two-dimension situational awareness applications. It’s now available in more than 105 markets across the country, including Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, with additional markets added weekly. Intrepid Networks’ Response for FirstNet, a situational awareness platform, is the first to bring our Z-Axis capability to market. Check out how this will help communities nationwide here.
