The G888 Multi-Sensor Gas Detector from GfG Instrumentation offers exceptional one to six gas performance. The G888 is compact, durable and very easy-to-use. With a footprint of only 9.5 cm by 6.2 cm, it is by far the smallest 6 gas instrument on the market. Diffusion operation means using the G888 is as simple as turning it on, and attaching it to your harness, pocket or belt. The G888 supports an extremely wide range of oxygen, LEL and toxic gas sensors, including our proprietary family of single and multichannel IR CO2 and combustible gas sensors. The G888 is optionally available with license free, wireless, ISM band RF communication capable of transmitting real-time readings, alarms and “man down” status over a distance of up to 1,000 meters. Repeaters can be used to increase the RF communication distance to several kilometers. The G888 provides up to 24 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. The rechargeable battery is based on safe, proven, nickel metal hydride (NiMH) technology that offers exceptional cold weather performance. Plug and play “smart sensors” mean it’s easy to change or add additional sensors. The G888 is equally impressive as a four gas, five gas or six gas detector.
