When it comes to airbag rollover protection for your firefighters, RollTek is safety at their side. The first and most widely used advanced side roll airbag protection system, RollTek is designed to turn one of the worst crashes a firefighter can face, into a walk away event. 

A rollover can happen in the blink of an eye, so RollTek deploys in a quarter of a second.  When the roll sensor detects an unrecoverable roll, three things happen to protect the firefighters onboard.
 

1. The seat belt pretensioner tightens to keep the firefighter securely in the seat.
    
2. Where applicable, the suspension seat drops to its lowest setting to increase survivable space and keep the firefighter away from the roof.
    
3. A side airbag deploys to cushion the head and neck on impact.

Many EMTs forgo the safety of a seat belt because they limit their mobility. Not Per4Max with Controlled Deceleration Technology. Per4Max allows EMTs to reach where they need to reach and even stand while safely buckled up. Not only is Per4Max easy to use, but the controlled deceleration technology absorbs crash energy and slows deceleration which can reduce the chance of a serious injury.  Unrestrained EMTs can also do more harm than good if they’re thrown into their patient during a crash. Buckling up with Per4Max protects them both.

Firefighters should fight fires instead of their gear. With SmartDock, there are no cords or levers to slow them down. Simply bend at the waist to release the tank then stand up to exit the apparatus. In the event of a crash, SmartDock locks in place to keep the tank from becoming a projectile. A single model fits nearly all SCBAs, and SmartDock quickly retrofits to a wide variety of seats.
