Tocabe: An American Indian Eatery is an award winning fast casual restaurant concept based in Denver Colorado. Tocabe has been featured on the Food Network, Travel Channel, CNN along with The New York Times, Food and Wine Magazine,The Atlantic, QSR magazine and was awarded as a 2023 top 25 restaurant concept in Colorado.  

The restaurant first opened its doors in December 2008. Co-founders Ben Jacobs and Matthew Chandra added a second location in 2015, food truck in 2016 and will be opening in Denver International Airport in fall of 2023. 

Tocabe takes its origin from Grayhorse: An American Indian Eatery, established in downtown Denver in 1989 by the Jacobs family. The Jacobs are members of the Osage Nation of Oklahoma. Tocabe is an ingredient driven restaurant working directly with Native and Indigenous food producers to create highly differentiated fast causual cuisine. The restaurant is set in a clean, warm, open space with connections to American Indian cultural elements, infused with a contemporary atmosphere.
