With the support of Governor Bill Lee and the Tennessee General Assembly, Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance Commissioner Carter Lawrence leads a team that combines the best practices of the industry with world class customer service. Captive Section Director, Mark Wiedeman, has assembled 10 dedicated captive insurance specialists, all with a background in accounting, most of whom are Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). All members of the Captive Section either have an Associate of Captive Insurance (ACI) designation or are in the process of obtaining one.
