Independent retailers are embracing creative strategies for top-line growth. Updating existing processes and rejuvenating existing programs such as TPRs, shelf tags and kiosks may bring substantial sales increase. In addition, by no longer limiting themselves to traditional grocery items, innovative retailers are finding alternative revenue sources such as new product categories and new retail formats to bring in additional sales.
