Our brand origins trace back over three generations, to a modest family home in the small village of Kornos, Cyprus. The first batch of Kornos™ Halloumi Cheese was borne entirely by hand from a small wood-burning stove beside the house. Honesty has always been a vital ingredient in our halloumi: since its inception, Kornos™ has been making halloumi using only sheep & goat’s milk, which our founder collected by donkey from local farms twice a day. Meticulous attention to our ingredients continues to this day – our state-of-the-art dairy is nestled in the foothills of Stavrovouni mountain at the village outskirts, ensuring our proximity to the same small-scale, free-range farms. Our halloumi is made in small batches under rigorous quality control to ensure a superior product worthy of its centuries of tradition!
