Green Papaya was established in 2018 by a working scientist-mom, who wanted to find a better alternative to store bought candles and tea lights that are too strong-scented and irritating to the airways. Armed with her knowledge of product development and quality management principles, she set out to create a line that she would want to use every day with her family and friends. After an extensive research, a perfect combination of "nose-friendly" and natural line of high quality candles was born. Green Papaya's promise is to produce and carry products that customers can trust.
We now carry a wide assortment of soy candles and tea lights. Our latest addition is the Candle Carousel, a mesmerizing mobile decor that combines old science and contemporary art. When hot air from the candle or tea light goes up, the blades start to move causing the ornaments to go round and round. As of today, we have the largest selection of candle-powered carousels, with over 40 designs to choose from.
