Hanna’s Handiworks was founded in 1996 by Scott Dolasky. In 1998, David Hergert joined the Hanna’s team. In 2001, they moved the business to its current location, nestled inside an industrial cave complex in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Today, Ron Dolasky heads the Hanna's team, and we are proud to say after twenty-three years, we are still family owned.
The most common question we get asked is, “Is Hanna’s Handiworks really in a cave?” Yes we are!
Because the temperature and humidity inside a cave are constant, our inventory is more stable than in an average warehouse setting. This unique environment, centered in America’s heartland, allows us to maintain a larger inventory while shipping from a convenient, mid-point location.
In addition to our home office, warehouse and showroom located in the Greater Kansas City Metro, we maintain permanent showrooms at various market locations across the U.S. including: Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta and Minneapolis.
