Meredith Jurica is the founder and CEO of Makeup Junkie Bags. Before starting her business, she was a Speech Language Pathologist after obtaining her Bachelor and Masters degree in the field. She departed from her job as a Speech Language Pathologist to stay at home with her two young daughters. An avid lover of makeup, she was tired of makeup bags not meeting her standards, and decided to get crafty in her spare time. It turns out she was solving a problem many people were having. Starting with one simple sewing machine at her kitchen table, Makeup Junkie Bags was born. Her company now has a retail website and wholesales to thousands of retailers nationwide. Meredith has continued to expand her lines over the last four years to include handbags, cosmetics, apparel and other accessories. She was featured on Shark Tank, as well as Good Morning America. All of her bags are “Handmade in Texas,” and carry a lifetime warranty.
