New Hope Girls is a non-profit organization based in the Dominican Republic and produces beautiful bags that rescue girls and empower women. Each artisan is a mother, who is invited into a safe work community and taught to sew so she can provide for her children with honor and dignity. With the mentorship of Vera Bradley, they create high-quality artisan bags. The profit from the sale of their beautiful bags fuels the work of rescue of young girls caught in cycles of exploitation.
