Born and raised in the Lone Star State, Chris began his coffee journey in 2017 with the opening of Purefi Coffee Roasters. Located in Spring, TX, PCR’s focus is to use the service of specialty coffee to mentor the next generation and to partner with local and global initiatives that create positive change in the world. He continuously aims to improve his skill level and understanding of coffee roasting through many hours of education, mentorship, tastings, mistakes, and invaluable life lessons. He enjoys sharing the information he has gathered through many avenues and relationships.
With Chris, there’s no gatekeeping or secret formulas, just the desire to see all succeed. He is a proud father of four sons and the husband to his amazing wife and co-founder, Amber. People are his purpose, and coffee is the avenue.
