Bob started working in coffee in 1988, and it was an origin trip to Guatemala in 1991 that kicked off a greater understanding of coffee growing, processing, and roasting, and helped launch his career in coffee. He worked for Orleans Coffee for 12 years prior to becoming an owner in 2007, and is also the company’s green coffee buyer. He works with importers and producers on identifying interesting specialty coffees to offer customers. He values working with people to help them get the products and services they need to run their business.
Bob has been a two-time member of the (original Coffee) Roasters Guild, an organization devoted to the continuing education of coffee roasters around the country and the world.
