*Efficiency Behind the Bar

Description

This class is designed to analyze the roles of a coffee shop employee and how they can help influence a more efficient customer transaction. While efficiency is a desirable trait we will also keep in mind how to be efficient and customer focused at the same time. We will discuss station management, drink preparation equipment and look at how we can better define employee roles to increase efficiency and when it makes sense to increase staffing. In addition, we will analyze customer scenarios that can be timely if not handled correctly.
 
 While efficiency is the focus for this course, Kristen also covers the importance of creating a quality experience and product for each customer.
