ARCA cabinets are available in both portrait and landscape orientation, consequently offering greater versatility. The ARCA series provides you the first real enclosing alternative to steel boxes. Thanks in part to its high impact resistance, this watertight, UV resistant polycarbonate enclosure will not dent, rust, crack or bloom like steel or fiberglass, therefore offering longer field life. Polycarbonate cabinets weigh considerably less and are easier to modify than their metal or fiberglass counterparts, saving both time and money.

The ARCA – JIC (Joint Industrial Council) hinged polycarbonate enclosure series is UL listed and rated NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) type 4X. Therefore, the NEMA 4X and 6P ratings ensure protection from the ingress of windblown dust, water, snow, and debris. Made in America, this polycarbonate enclosure series is available in JIC standard sizes, and most sizes are available with a clear lid or opaque cover.

The ARCA – JIC  is a watertight NEMA 4X and 6P cabinet enclosure that consistently outperforms metal and fiberglass boxes and makes a perfect industrial control panel enclosure. Fibox is proud to offer the industry’s first and only NEMA 4X JIC enclosure with formed-in-place knock-outs (KO). Industry-standard ½ and ¾ inch pre-formed knock-outs save time in contrast to DIY customization. Use Fibox’s NEMA-rated cable glands to retain your enclosures’ NEMA 4X status. Bypass gasketed, glued-in or bolted on windows with a clear lid.

Polycarbonate NEMA 4X enclosures with clear lids or opaque covers are designed for the harshest locations and are more than just a plastic box or a hinged plastic electrical case. The ARCA – JIC protects sensitive equipment from the ingress of water thanks in part to its formed-in-place PUR gasket. Similarly, our enclosure keeps electrical systems free from dust and dirt and therefore are the ideal electrical enclosure indoors or out. The ARCA – JIC series is UV and impact resistant and has an IK 09 rating. Consequently, a Fibox is so well designed it will provide years of active outdoor service. Rust-free polycarbonate offers excellent chemical resistance compared to metal or fiberglass boxes.

Fibox’s HMI enclosure kits protect instruments or electronics components that need secure accessibility. The Instrument Protection Window (IPW) permits both viewing and access to readouts and controls. With a working depth of over 3 inches, Fibox’s IPW provides an easy to install, secure HMI access cover on any enclosure while still retaining its NEMA 4X enclosure rating.  These HMI enclosures allow for easy viewing of meters or displays and permit secure access to HMI controls on any underlying enclosure. Indoor or outdoor, the IPW maintains a water and dust free environment with a dual-formed in place polyurethane gasketing system and low profile continuous hinge design.

With several secure locking options, The IPW ensures safe access to hazardous parts or equipment inside the enclosure and a higher degree of protection to personnel.

With two sizes available (12″x10″x3.31″ and 16″x14″x3.31″), the IPW is made to the same exacting standards of all Fibox enclosures and is rated IP66/67. Rugged, UV protected, impact resistant (IK09) polycarbonate makes the IPW a robust solution for all cabinets and control panels.
