The Geonexus Integration Platform (GIP) is a “Commercial-Off-The-Shelf” (COTS) middleware integration software that synchronizes data between GIS, CIS, and EAM enterprise systems like IBM® Maximo and Esri® ArcGIS®. GIP communicates with these systems via vendor-supported Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), including Maximo Business Objects, ArcObjects, and REST APIs. The loosely coupled nature of GIP ensures the highest degree of stability and flexibility, so that organizations can rely on GIP for safe, consistent, and dependable synchronization of data between systems. GIP does not run “in process” with any system. The independent installation of GIP means that:
- GIP is very easy to install and configure.
- GIP supports software upgrades and version changes to the Maximo and ArcGIS software platforms.
- GIP is a fully supported software product, complete with robust documentation and installation programs and procedures.
As a software company, Geonexus is 100% committed to the support and continual improvement of GIP. Geonexus will continue to release regular updates to ensure compatibility with new versions of Maximo and other supported systems.
