  • NFPA 1971 Compliant Leather Chinstraps
    The ONLY Leather chinstrap to meet NFPA 1971 compliance....

    • The ONLY NFPA compliant leather chinstrap in the industry. This has been tested in conjunction with Phenix Technology and a 3rd party tested to meet compliance. Don’t be fooled by other saying they use “NFPA approved” buckles, that is not NFPA compliant, and is intentionally deceptive to move product by simply mentioning a "component" used and not the entire product. Our strap has been designed, tested and met standards set forth by 1971. The item has become a standard addition to phenix helmets since 2017. Grab yours today!

    • Our Design for gear traveling from location to location ready for quick deployment. Designed in 2013 as a gift to a firefighter on our crew entering an academy to keep his gear together and ready to deploy. The bunker strap has gained popularity as well as imitations of the design due to its functionality. Ours however is utilitarian. Once you deploy your gear, throw it in a pocket and have it as a 2.5" hose line handling tool. 
     

    Our items are innovative, and designed for function, durability, and beauty. The first 2 being the import ones and the second being a the aesthetics of the item. 

  • “Burnt out” line.
    Leatherhead Concepts pioneered the “black hardware” on fire service goods That have now become an industry standard. (yes… it’s our fault) haha....

    • This concept was tested and developed in late 2012 and released at FirehouseWorld 2013 in San Diego. At the time no one had done a "murdered out" (we call it burnt-out) radio strap, chin strap, suspenders, etc. We sought out suppliers to supply our idea and took several months to put in motion. When we did, it changed the direction of the industry for ever. One of our proud marks on the first responder leather business that we rarely brag about.
