The TD500 model is primarily designed for operations requiring larger fire flow rates as in structural fire fighting and tanker/tender filling operation. The TD500 sets up quickly with standard 2 ½” hose as the feed or “motive” and Storz coupled 5” large diameter hose for the return line. The unit is capable of generating usable flow rates of 670 gpm or more.

The TD250, our smaller of the three units, was designed for multiple applications besides fire fighting operations. The unit’s light weight and compact size combined with the ability to outfit the eductor with a variety of strainer configurations makes the unit a versatile emergency service tool. The TurboDraft ‘CS’ (Model TD500CS) configuration provides the same dependable performance as our original 5” eductor design (Model TD-500) adding the flexibility to connect to almost any 6” NH coupled strainer.  Whether utilizing a “through the ice”, box, low-level, or any 6” NH strainer the TurboDraft ‘CS’ enhances the Fire Departments’ ability to access previously unreachable static sources. The TurboDraft ‘CS’ improves the effectiveness of dry hydrants and vertical suction standpipes.
