Engine Company Emergencies taught by Jerry Herbst & Chris Martin
In this outdoor session on South Street, leveraging insights from the Brass Tacks & Hard Facts training video series, Jerry Herbst and Chris Martin will collaborate to explore the complexities of engine company flow emergencies. Utilizing the innovative Rosenbauer RTX electric fire truck, they will examine a variety of flow emergencies, teaching participants how to recognize these situations, assess whether to proceed (Go) or not (No Go), and strategies for resolution. The discussion will cover issues such as hose kinks, blockages caused by debris, and clogged nozzles, emphasizing how different nozzle designs can provide visual cues about flow status.
