Additionally, our large existing generator rehabilitation and repowering department is backed with references of up to 200 MVA in the main utilities worldwide.

Our converters serve to use machines not only in fixed mode but also at variable speed.

We offer 3 technical solutions based on our technology:

1. SFC: Pump mode starters for fixed speed machines.
2. AC excitation for Doubly Fed machines: Frequency converters allowing limited variation of the rotational speed for reversible Large Pump Storage units.
3. Full Power Converter: Frequency converters that allow 100% variation of the rotational speed for reversible Small & Medium Pump Storage units.

• INGEDRIVE™ variable speed drives are designed for single- and multiple-motor applications and can work with both synchronous and asynchronous motors as well as permanent magnet motors.
• The range of INGEDRIVE™ variable speed drives is ideal for both four-quadrant operation with energy feedback (AFE configuration) and for applications without energy feedback (DFE rectifier). The incorporation of control via fibre optic for the whole converter range and the use of latest generation semiconductors,  result in technologically-advanced, highly-efficient equipment with a safe, flexible and user-friendly interface.

 
The MV900 series is a safe, user-friendly and compact solution for 6.6 kV applications with demanding dynamics and high powers.
