The newly designed PittBoss evaporator is able to mitigate environmental contamination by controlling the dry aerosol drift
commonly associated with old fashion evaporators. Through this design the PittBoss has reduced the
power consumption from 25 HP to 7.5 HP, while providing outstanding evaporation performance. The
PittBoss has set the carbon performance standard for evaporation for cost per gallon evaporated. The
PittBoss is a down draft evaporator which allows for complete control of the air velocity, droplet size
and droplet flight time. Unlike typical high powered trajectory evaporators, the down draft evaporator
keeps the ion content on the water surface where the ion content is less likely to loft off.
