  • FPI Mag
The FPI Mag is the insertion-style electromagnetic flow meter ideal for new and retrofit applications. The FPI Mag’s hot-tap capabilities make installation easy and reduce overall costs by up to 45%....

  • The Only Hot Tap Full Profile Insertion Mag Meter

The FPI electromag flow meter is ideal for capital or maintenance projects, retrofits and sites that have never before been metered.

The unique combination of accuracy, ease of installation and total cost savings make the FPI Mag the perfect choice for a wide range of Municipal and Industrial Applications.

McCrometer’s multi-electrode design and unique operating principle, delivers accuracy unmatched by other insertion meters and rivals the performance of full-bore mag meters.

This next generation of insertion technology makes flow monitoring efforts simple and precise.

    KEY BENEFITS AND FEATURES
Accuracy that Meets or Exceeds Industry Standards
The FPI Mag® meets or exceeds exacting industry standards of ±0.5% accuracy with 3rd party testing verification.

Easily Connects to AMI / AMR Systems
The FPI Mag is available in battery or solar-powered options for forward and bi-directional flow sensors, enabling installation in remote applications without access to power. The Smart Output feature allows the FPI Mag to connect to AMI / AMR systems through an encoded digital output.

Insertion Design Allows for Simple Installation
The insertion design allows for easy, hot tap installation, which allows the meter to be installed without interrupting service, de-watering lines, cutting pipe, welding flanges, or inconveniencing customers.

    No Moving Parts
The FPI Mag has no moving parts and a single-piece design. The multi-electrode water flow sensor contains nothing to wear or break and is generally immune to clogging by sand, grit or other debris.

    Robust Construction
The sensor body is made from heavy-duty 316 stainless steel for maximum structural integrity and is hermetically sealed and protected by NSF certified 3M fusion-bonded epoxy coating. Electrodes are constructed from stainless steel as a standard and Hastelloy as a custom option.

  • V-Cone
The V-Cone® is incredibly accurate with minimal straight-run requirements. It's a space-saving choice for challenging flow conditions or weight restrictions. Acting as its own flow straightener, the V-Cone is unaffected by elbows, valves, and pumps....

  • Differential Pressure Flow Meter, Ideal for Liquid, Steam or Gas Measurement

Built In-Flow condition design ideal for use in tight-fit and retrofit installations.
McCrometer’s V-Cone® Flow Meter is an advanced differential pressure instrument, which is ideal for use with liquid, steam or gas media in even the most challenging conditions.

When accuracy and repeatability are critical, the V-Cone’s performance brings superior value.

    KEY BENEFITS AND FEATURES
    Proven Performance
McCrometer invented and patented the first V-Cone flow meter, in 1985. Today, there are over 75,000 McCrometer V-Cone flow meters installed worldwide.

    Accuracy You Can Count On
The V-Cone flow meter’s unique design provides repeatable accuracy of up to ±0.5% of rate under even the most difficult flow conditions.

    High-Performance in Challenging Applications
Designed for mild to harsh operating environments, this advanced flow meter consistently outperforms traditional differential pressure (DP) devices, and other flow technologies.

    Maximum Installation Flexibility
Can be installed virtually anywhere in the piping system, or easily retrofit into an existing piping layout giving significant cost savings.

    Low-to-No Operating Costs
Long-term performance assurance with no moving parts to replace and maintain.
