Boresight Unmanned Aerial Targets for CUAS Training

Company Overview

Boresight is a world leader in providing Counter small-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-sUAS) Training and Red-Teaming through the use of its low-cost Unmanned Aerial Target (UAT) platforms and swarming capable Ground Control Station (GCS).

Boresight Differentiators

Boresight fulfils a vital gap in the C-sUAS market, purpose built and designed aerial target and training systems. The only competitor to Boresight is commercial drone camera manufacturers. When compared to commercial camera drone platforms, Boresight offers the following unique advantages:

  • Swarming capability.
  • Repeatable flight operations from multiple UAT platforms utilising a common GCS.
  • Purpose built C-sUAS targets with lower unit costs.
  • Reliable Supply Chain.

Boresight C-sUAS Training and Red Teaming

Through Boresight’s unique swarming capable GCS software, Boresight provides market leading C-sUAS training for Military and Law Enforcement customers. Our C-sUAS capability can be either provided directly to a customer or combined with a C-sUAS manufacturer’s system to then provide a customer a complete C-sUAS and Training capability packaged as one product.

  • The BQ400 Unmanned Aerial Target (UAT) system an expendable and effective aerial target system designed to mimic the characteristics of popular commercially available quadcopter systems. The BQ400 UAT system uses Boresight’s customised flight management and mission planning software for flight control of the Raider UAT and the conduct of ad-hoc or pre-planned threat scenarios.

The Raider UAT was designed to be highly manoeuvrable in both automatic and Pilot-In-Comand flight modes, allowing the design and execution of complex flight profiles that emulate threats from COTS quadcopters as seen recently in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
