Brands: RAPTOR is a high-performance parachute training simulation system designed to meet Military requirements, including Static Line, Military Free-Fall, and High Altitude Parachute Operations descents.

 Products

  • RAPTOR Parachute Simulation System
Realistic static line (SL) and freefall parachute simulation, covering Military Freefall (MFF) mission profiles, including High Altitude – Low Opening (HALO) and High Altitude – High Opening (HAHO), with oxygen jump modes...

  • RAPTOR features a broad spectrum of applications: key system inclusions are:

    • Multiple parachute types with different canopy parameters and flight characteristics are pre-loaded into the system, and more specific mapping can be loaded on request.
    • The mission operator can select SL and FF malfunctions.
    • Multiple terrain databases to facilitate different environments.
    • The operator can load different wind and weather conditions at different altitudes.

After specifying the key training/mission parameters, users can select from a series of simple individual exercises or complex, interactive group scenarios to develop capability and enhance mission success.

Equipped with an easy-to-use graphical interface, RAPTOR provides the instructor with an operator station for mission planning and creating and operating training units. All training data is recorded for subsequent training evaluation in debriefing via an integrated recording module. Each training scenario can be accurately matched to training content, as well as programmed to reflect training-relevant equipment (night-vision goggles, oxygen masks, etc.).

To simulate real-life conditions, each element is designed to render the experience as realistic as possible. The interplay of physical stimuli (e.g., force feedback, wind) ensures that the jumper is directly impacted during the jump, while visual stimuli is generated using our 3D terrain database and the image generator (IG), to force the jumper to process and respond to a variety of changing conditions like weather and light conditions.

High-resolution graphics enhance simulation accuracy, while realistic seeming clouds and numerous pre-loaded detailed DZs ensure that RAPTOR offers a truly virtual experience.

    Product Benefits

The RAPTOR is the most advanced parachute simulation system supporting active force feedback for better parachute steering, and realistic simulation of turbulences and landing phases: recent system upgrades are:

    • Improved aircraft exit phase
    • Improved visualization systems
    • Support of 4k VR Goggles
    • Customer configurable graphical user interface, including chest-mounted navigation system.
    • Real wind simulation
    • Oxygen simulation
    • Simulated icing of Goggles
    • An advanced communication system between trainees and instructors.
    • Networking with other RAPTOR stations, including virtual jumpers, to train team scenarios.
