SOFWERX: Solving SOF Warfighter Challenges
SOFWERX is a platform created under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between DEFENSEWERX and the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). We solve challenging Warfighter problems at scale through increased collaboration and innovation.
We bring together small businesses and non-traditionals and leverage their expertise to help solve the operational challenges that SOCOM brings through our doors. With a heavy focus on proof of theory and proof of concept, our goal is to find best of breed technologies and practices to ensure the safety and success of our nation’s special operations forces (SOF). The projects and events we facilitate explore everything from submarines to satellites. Our robust ecosystem supports our mission by getting involved in both ideation and rapid prototyping.
