Phelps2020’s conducts research, development, test, and prototyping, offering innovative actionable 2D and 3D computer vision, artificial intelligence, and data fusion solutions for the processing, exploitation, and dissemination of large data, at the speed of relevance. Phelps2020 solutions provide in-time decision support, including low  size, weight, and power (SWaP) at the edge, from EO, IR, Radar, and Ladar sensors, to help the user make better, faster, more efficient decisions.

Built around a 2oz 2x3x.5 in 8K60 scalable processor which can be cascaded in many directions, Phelps2020’s architecture is able to handle very high-resolution data, while achieving latency as low as 17 milliseconds. While most the systems by other providers are CPU- or GPU-based, Phelps2020’s systems are an orchestrated mix of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) optimized all the way to the gate/transistor level. 

Because of their size, Phelps2020’s processors are fitted at the edge as soon as the data comes out of the sensor, avoiding hence lossy compression, detrimental to AI?ML?CV, as well as network latency.
